In 2016, "The World R:2" was released. .hack//Roots covers the time Haseo spent with Shino and Ovan in the guild known as the Twilight Brigade, before the .hack//G.U. PS2 games. |

I finished watching it. Roots was a great anime. The soundtrack/music was great, as were the scenery and characters; very detailed and colorful. As for the story itself; it's very real, primarily because it's an RPG based anime. (People choose an avatar join a guild/team and go on quests.) If you've played RPG type games you'll find this to be a great perspective; and if you haven't it maybe difficult to relate to.
