I absolutely love this anime to bits!!
I think i've watched it through completely maybe 3 times, thats excluding all the lil repeats i do of certain episodes. This anime means a lot to me, as this was the anime which made my passion for anime even stronger and this is an anime i will always love
The animation was great for starters, i loved the clothing of the characters, how things were presented and the colouing that was used to differentiate between the nights and even moods of the characters.
The characters are simply amazing!!! I loved each of the characters that were on the 'good' side. Each character had there own emotions, personality and life, which were all brought together in this anime. In some parts Yuka was a little over bearing, as she began to take a sort of sadistic, crazy persona which was a little mmm.....but still great.
The story itself of which it is centred around is great and it makes you really think about things in the anime, but in a fun way like your working it out alongside the characters.
1 thing i wish that could have happened was something more between Takahisa and Yukiko, i just loved them sooo mcuh and when they finally had the chance to get together....'it' happened and was terrible. The way they thought it up was simply beautiful in a sense. But at the same time was terrible, because no matter what you had to ball your eyes out and the way Yukiko acted in the next episode was something i loved, it showed her passion and love and im biased towards those 2 so i could go on forever, but i loved the relationships that evolved within the anime.
Liselotte's character and story was brilliant.
If you are a crazy anime person that looks for the best, fast-paced action anime this probably wouldnt be for you, but if you want a great story with a bit of everything and emotions and of course the unexpected ending this is for you.
I'd recommend this to anyone as its still one of my fave animes to have ever watched and im so grateful for watching this anime.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
