I don't like sad endings, that's a given...however, when I watched this movie, I didn't really care for the ending, 'coz the whole story really got me. It is a cumulation of a young love's journey towards realization, a journey of uncertainty, a journey of vague hopes and dreams... What also caught my attention is its music. It conveys the depth of the whole story, a melancholic feeling may swipe you once you listen to it, but as one continues to listen, it's as if you are also sent into the story. Plus, the animation's superb! It's sad alright, but I wouldn't change the ending. This is one sad-ending movie I wouldn't mind watching over and over again. And, just between us, this made me cry...
