The virtual reality game story isn´t exactly new, but they do it differently here, and add quite a few intresting and complex layers to it(just wrapping my head around ONE of all the systems the use, makes my brain hurt XD). The characters are simple but entertaining to watch and easy to sympathise with. The battles are also pretty intense and fast paced and even though they don´t have any physical consequenses in the real world, you still get sucked into it like the characters, since there are certain abilities of the virtual reality game that you can also use in the real world, oh and time flows differently in the virtual reality game world, so they play around a lot with that too, confusing you even more :D One final thing that confused me(seems to be a running gag in this review of mine XD) was the relationship between Haru and Kuroyukihime. I mean, it´s heavily implied throughout the show that it is supposed to be a romantical relationship, but as such it is never either explicitly told or shown, only brief and vague glimpses are given. I´m not sure if I should applaud the anime for going this subtle route, or just be frustrated that it isnt more obvious. Though I guess it´s better than being TOO obvious like in some other anime´s(is that correct grammar? No one will ever know).

End of rant/review.
