Seriously!?

I was really looking forward to this show. I thought it was going to have a mafia feel to it, kinda like Baccano!. The first episode opened up really well with a cool fight/chase scene. Every member of the Arcana family has a special card that represents their power. So far we have not seen anybody use these powers at all and it's all been a lot of useless talk between all the members of the Arcana family. The story itself is rather dull in my opinion. The father renounces his thrown and has the male members battle it out for his successor. However in the second episode they spent the majority of the episode looking for a cat... That's about the point where I lost interest in this show. A whole episode wasted, with no development of the story at all. It's a shame too because I really like the character design of Felicita too. Hopefully this show decides to develop it's story at some point, I just hope it doesn't take 8 episodes for them to finally get to it.
