Tanaka Yukio, better known by his nickname Koyuki is a 14 year old who feels disconnected from life in general. This anime is true to it's cause. I'm a big music fan but not many music animes out there that are as inspiring, and well rounded as this. It has a totally cool down to earth retro feel to it, great soundtrack, has a good pace and story that will keep you interested. The relationships are good, they did a really good job of mixing the feelings up in between characters at points of the anime to keep it from becoming too parallel, one in particular had me up and down, at some points had me furious, others I couldn't stop watching until I felt some form of reconciliation. Overall the anime had a good strong finish, and like any good anime out there it'll leave you wanting more but I think in this case it was a nice complete series. Good watch, and re-watchability.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
