Moritaka Mashiro, a junior high school student, content to live out a relatively normal life as any other does, is persuaded by his classmate, Akito Takagi, to become an aspiring mangaka when the latter realizes his natural talent as an artist. However, Moritaka is reluctant to pursue his dream as his uncle, once a mangaka with his own serializations, died from overwork trying to regain his lost status. With Akito's help, Takagi gets another classmate and his school crush, Azuki Miho, who is an aspiring voice actress, to voice in the anime adaptation of their future manga once it is completed. However, Mashiro also proposes to Azuki, who surprisingly accepts only on the condition she will marry him when both of them have achieved their dreams. With a goal set before him, Mashiro begins a long and struggling path to become a famous mangaka. |

Take a look at this anime's story : A guy who wants to be a mangaka just to marry the girl he loves. Boring, right? No. The story is so catching, not too fast and not with that many plot-twists how I instantly see them in other Animes, but rather slow and building, what I like better. Anyway, the Dialogues are just too realistic , you can easily relate to the characters and I bet you've had such a situation in Real Life like them at least ones. It is very entertaining. By the way, what I was surprised about, this Anime is from the creators of Death Note, so I thought this one would be for the "Thinkers", and with a kind of dark story. But it's completely different. Oh, also, you can hear a reference to Death Note right in the first episode, pretty cool, ain't it?

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
