At the exact same time, a major change overwhelms Kuchiki Rukia, which leaves her losing something important inside. Urahara Kisuke sends Kurosaki Ichigo to Soul Society to investigate the disturbance. Upon reaching Seireitei, Ichigo is set upon and attacked by shinigamis, once allies, who have no memory of him and Rukia. Now alone and on the run, Ichigo must find the missing Rukia and uncover the cause of the mysterious incident before it's too late.

This movie is written really well. The quality of the plot, dialogs and animations where very well done, Now something you do have to remember is that these movies: Memories of Nobody, Diamond Dust Rebellion and Fade To Black; have no correlation to the actual story line of the show itself. Same as the Royal family and Zanpakuto rebellion filler arcs they were made to make some extra cash and break up the storyline in some dif aspects. Personally Fade To Black is my favorite Bleach movie thus far because even if you haven't watched the show you can practically put the dots together with this movie and watching this first then the anime series I was like dude that was pretty epic. Moving onward seeing as this has no connection to the actual storyline Aizen wouldn't have any play in this movie or any of the others for that matter. In my opinion I do rate this 5 stars across the board the storyline was a nice change of pace and I thought it was great for people who had never watched Bleach to check out. The Dialogue is written very well easy to follow and not to complicated. Anyway hope this clears some things up with the unintelligent people who can't see the bigger picture behind the big picture like asking about where Aizen fits into it he doesn't because the movies are like a mini filler arc. anyway take care guys have a good one and enjoy the little things.
