| Summary: |
Kurosaki Ichigo is a 15 year old boy that has an ability to see ghosts/spirits. Because of his ability, he is able to meet a female death god (a.k.a Shinigami) named Kuchiki Rukia. To save his family and friends from unwanted soul-eating spirits (Hollows), Rukia transfers her Shinigami powers to Ichigo. As Rukia takes on a human shell, together they solve mysteries involving spirits and hollows until from the spirit world comes 2 other shinigamis explaining that it is illegal to transfer Shinigami powers to humans and Rukia exceeded the time limit to stay in the human world. After they sentence her death for breaking the laws, Ichigo snaps and swears to everyone he will retrieve Rukia by breaking into the spirit world. |

see what i said about one piece fans? every anime has its negative reviews but seems like one piece fans are the only ones who feel the need to flip their sh*t. like i said, a bunch of 10 year old whiners who just don't seem to comprehend their own stupidity. its best to stop whining kiddies before you embarrass yourselves even more.
anyways, bleach is an entertaining anime. the story can get quite repetitive and uncreative. however, the show really isn't about the story at all. but rather about fun characters with fun powers. its just a fun ride to watch this one. the drawing start off kinda lame but get quite good as it get along. they have becomes quite outstanding by the newer episodes. the animation can range from REALLY good to quite lazy occasionally, but more often its the former. the dialogues are funny as hell and so are the random jokes. the music is nothing short of AWESOME and memorable. overall, not-so-great story, but great characters, great powers, great animation, great music. great entertainment.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
