| Summary: |
Kurosaki Ichigo is a 15 year old boy that has an ability to see ghosts/spirits. Because of his ability, he is able to meet a female death god (a.k.a Shinigami) named Kuchiki Rukia. To save his family and friends from unwanted soul-eating spirits (Hollows), Rukia transfers her Shinigami powers to Ichigo. As Rukia takes on a human shell, together they solve mysteries involving spirits and hollows until from the spirit world comes 2 other shinigamis explaining that it is illegal to transfer Shinigami powers to humans and Rukia exceeded the time limit to stay in the human world. After they sentence her death for breaking the laws, Ichigo snaps and swears to everyone he will retrieve Rukia by breaking into the spirit world. |

Bleach is very well written and really sucks you in. Yes, there are a bunch of fillers bunched in there because they started the anime too soon. but so what. skip them if you want. I skipped this most recent block of fillers. i wish i skipped the "bount" ones but it didnt make me lose interest because i knew the main storyline would be back. Not that i would have minded the way ichigo just grabbed Aizens face and drug him away for the final fight, so worth the fillers. crying my eyes out because of Gin's death and Matsumoto's reaction, so worth the fillers. And its back now since episode 343, AND it doesnt look bad at all!
I hate it when people judge an anime by how many fillers. Get over it already, it can suck but no one forced you to watch!
Also, all of the OST's and movies were awesome. Sagiso Shirou is a score genius. whenever i hear b13a (from fade to black OST(song when Ichigo and Aizen's final fight starts)) i feel like... oh man... awesome... it really pumps you up. then songs like will of the heart, torn apart, and here to stay make you feel SO much emotion. GOTTA LOVE IT!

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
