Summary:
Kurosaki Ichigo is a 15 year old boy that has an ability to see ghosts/spirits. Because of his ability, he is able to meet a female death god (a.k.a Shinigami) named Kuchiki Rukia. To save his family and friends from unwanted soul-eating spirits (Hollows), Rukia transfers her Shinigami powers to Ichigo. As Rukia takes on a human shell, together they solve mysteries involving spirits and hollows until from the spirit world comes 2 other shinigamis explaining that it is illegal to transfer Shinigami powers to humans and Rukia exceeded the time limit to stay in the human world. After they sentence her death for breaking the laws, Ichigo snaps and swears to everyone he will retrieve Rukia by breaking into the spirit world.
Soul Society Arc was mediocre to average for a shounen series. The fillers are horrible but I don't count these. Aizen+The other hollows Arc is what makes this show one of the crappiest show that ever existed in the history of anime. The art is the only good thing about this show, it's average at least even though some character design are pathetic and ugly.
Ichigo is like your main character, Aizen is like your typical final stage boss. Throw Ichigo inside a random MMORPG where he has to fight the weak monsters of Aizen the almighty God of the show and press the Cheat button to defeat the powerful mini-bosses like Ulquiorra or Grimjoo. Oh and please, in like what? 1 week the guy knows how to use a sword, use a bankai that requires centuries to master and defeat the top captain of the most powerful warriors of Bleach's world, give me a break.
Orihime is the most annoying character I've ever encountered. Chado is so useless why did they even bother put him ? Ichida is just not the type of Bleach character where only brute force and reatsu level matters.
The author just doesn't know how to make female character. They're either air head big breast morrons with an annoying personality or horribly annoying weak little girls for the sake of "hey look not all female character are tall with big boobs"
I'm not even talking about the horrible dialogue. Bad guys explaining thing to the good guy. Bad guy showing his strongest move at the end and explaining why he didn't use it first. "I am stronger than you" type of dialogue during battles. Not to mention Orihime, the biggest troll of the series and her repetitive "Kurusaki-kun".
