Kurosaki Ichigo is a 15 year old boy that has an ability to see ghosts/spirits. Because of his ability, he is able to meet a female death god (a.k.a Shinigami) named Kuchiki Rukia. To save his family and friends from unwanted soul-eating spirits (Hollows), Rukia transfers her Shinigami powers to Ichigo. As Rukia takes on a human shell, together they solve mysteries involving spirits and hollows until from the spirit world comes 2 other shinigamis explaining that it is illegal to transfer Shinigami powers to humans and Rukia exceeded the time limit to stay in the human world. After they sentence her death for breaking the laws, Ichigo snaps and swears to everyone he will retrieve Rukia by breaking into the spirit world. |

I'm sure that by now you've watched Bleach, either on TV or in movie form. If you have not then this is for you. Bleach follows Kurosaki, Ichigo and his friends as they fight to save themselves, their families and their town from the forces of evil.
Bleach is amongst only a handful of Anime that I have found to be first class in almost every aspect. It is in league with others of this Ultimate Class such as DragonBallZ, Evangelion, Raxephon, BlackCat and a few others. I have nothing but love for the story and the characters. The dialog and the in the American DUB the voice-overs are a little subdued and could be fuller and more inspired, but overall it is good enough it doesn't infuriate. The animation itself is worthy to be placed with these other titles and the overall entertainment factor that comes from swords, spells, and powerful monsters is really what makes this anime ultimate.
