This movie isn't as good as the other Bleach movies, but not as bad to compare it to crap. This movie certainly isn't awful, but I didn't like THAT much. The thing is, the animation is gorgeous. I think that the animation throughout the whole movie is excellent, and so was the music, sound and seiyū's. But all the rest was moderate to bad. I mean, the story made no sense at all. The writers didn't go into details, which, in this movie, was needed the most. The character's motives were weak, and especially the main villain. I still don't know what his story is (can we please get a flashback about his sister?!). The other villain (I think he was called Shuren) is the weakest character in all of the Bleach anime. I mean, even his stupid minions got more screen time than this dude. And then he suddenly disappeared and we know nothing about him. What was that all about? All this movie was about, was some fan service in the form of Ichigo kicking ass, and Renji, Rukia and Byakuya getting some screen time.
Even with all these disadvantages, I still enjoyed the movie a little, but only because the setting and animation was so entertaining. Hell is gorgeous (I never thought I'd say that :P). But all and all, I don't think I'll recommend this movie to anyone and probably won't watch it a second time.
