Summary: The inhabitants of the continent of Cruzon are born with the ability to freely control quartz. Technology based on this power allows them to perform a great multitude of tasks such as shoot projectiles and pilot mobile suits (called Golems in this society). Rygart Arrow is an un-sorcerer, a rare individual who is unable to levitate even the smallest crystal. Living with his brother on a farm, he receives a letter from an old friend, Hodr, the current king. Close companion of the king and queen when they were students at Assam Military School, Arrow is informed that a war is about to occur. Hodr called him because an ancient type of Golem has been found in a mining shaft. No one has been able to move it and queen Sigyn, an expert engineer, suspects that maybe an un-sorcerer might be the key to activate it.

For just one episode, this is certainly an interesting show. I like the story and I am curious to know what happens next. I also like how there are a group of friends that come from completely different worlds. Each character has personality that is also different. I also like the theme that has a mixture of the past, present, future, twist. The dialogue is great. Each character dialogue and personality are a good representation of the two. Animation is just awesome. It is especially true for mecha movements and cause and effect from those mechas. Detailed, precise, and, if anything, original. It's entertaining because of the different characters, situations that they encounter, and the twist that is incorporated. OVAs are completely different from regular anime shows. For one, they are long, nearly an hour while regular shows are 24-30 min long. Quality is far better than regular ones (but that does not mean that regular ones are not on par, some are even better - HOTD is a good example). Want to know more? watch it and decide for yourself.
