In the future, personal computers have developed into "Persocons", mobile computers that look like human beings. Hideki Motosuwa, a prep school student, desperately wants to buy a Persocon but cannot afford to. One day he finds a Persocon that has been thrown away and decides to keep it. When he turns on the Persocon, all she can say is "Chii" so he decides to name her that. After a while it starts to become apparent that Chii is more than an average Persocon. Having much better performance, it seems that Chii might be a "Chobit", a type of advanced Persocon rumored to have independent thought. |

This anime tell us a story of "Pure Love".
In nowadays, a big part of romance-type animes, have a lot of ecchi! I'm not badmouthing it! It's just that sometimes, there's too much of FanService -.-' i've already watched a LOT of animes, and sometimes the ecchi is too much, and end up ruining a bit of the story (like Sekirei, i really like that anime, but the fanservice is a bit too much, no?). Anyway, i don't stop watching it just because is too ecchi xD
But this anime show us a love story that transcends any other! An impossible love is born, and you'll decide if it's right, according to your beliefes.
I've saw this anime a long time ago, but it still remains in me as one of the best! A lot of laughing, emotions and drama awaits you.
I've also read the manga, and the story is a bit diferent, and in someway...wonderful ;)
Watch this anime. There'll be no regret ;)

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
