Claymore is a good series to watch and from the beginning to the end i have never been disappointed in it! The story was quite intense and the gore made the fighting scenes all the more enjoyable! There were many great moments in the Animé that made me and my one friend beg for the next episode and that is always something that defines whether or not a series is of great quality.
Claymore has a simple storyline and the past of each characters can be a bit predictable but the actual story is quite spontaneous. And another thing that i could blame is the speed at which they finished the series left me a little disappointed so the ending wasn't as great as i had expected.
This is a good series to watch when you're alone, certainly not girlfriend/boyfriend watching material! The series is packed with action and will get your heart beating once in a while.
If you are currently following Bleach, One Piece and Naruto, don't expect to be amazed, but if you know about the majority of the Animé series out there, you will know that Claymore is actually quite good in it's genre and style.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
