Taniguchi, and written by Ichir? ?kouchi, with original character designs by manga authors Clamp. Set in an alternate future, the series focus on how the former prince Lelouch Lamperouge obtains a power known as Geass and decides to use it to destroy the Holy Britannian Empire, an imperial monarchy and a superpower that has been conquering various countries. |

very good storyline, maybe one of the best i have seen. If you like Mecha fights, then you would also like this anime. I personally prefer the deep development of the charakters and the flow of the story, always very surprising and interresting events are happening.
The animation is a special one, if you like the clamp design with extremely thin bodies, you like the anime, if not, you dont like it. In my opinion a more realistic or adult animation style would have suited the very strict and adult story better.
The reasion why to watch this anime, i think, is the extremely innovative story development with one of the BEST anime endings i have ever seen. The ending is just wonderfull made and completely suits the main character Lelouch!
