I think I had chills through the whole series. The depth and scope of the characters astonished me in a genre (anime in general) not known for lifelike characters. They got a bit on the expansive side, but it fit well with the story. Animation was very typical CLAMP, but the action was far better than their usual. You will laugh at, love, and hate the characters as they play out their glorious tragedy.
In short, I have two words: WATCH IT!!!
