Set in an alternate future, the series focus on how the former prince Lelouch Lamperouge obtains a power known as Geass and decides to use it to destroy the Holy Britannian Empire, an imperial monarchy and a superpower that has been conquering various countries. |

Overrated ~~ Don't compare it to Deathnote.

This show is to overrated for its own good. I seen people in youtube compare it to deathnote because the guy in this show and in death note are almost the same (somewhat) "the rise to power" kind of plot. Well it ain't deathnote, this and deathnote are on two different level. The story is okay, it starts strong but kind of weakens in the middle but pick-ups again in the end (for the first 25 ep. thats the first season). I will say the second season
is really addictive its more entertaining than the first 25 ep. The Action and animation is average not that good, the robot battles are really bor-----average. If you want to see some good robot vs robot action see gundam 00.
If i had to rate this anime i would rate it 6/10 okay 7/10. The only thing that keeps you entertain is how lulu going mind rape is enemy.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
