Niwa Daisuke is your average teenager, until his fourteenth birthday. He tries to declare his love to the girl of his dreams, but fails. Suddenly, whenever he thinks about this girl he turns into the legendary phantom thief known as Dark Mousy. Daisuke's mother, very much aware of this, makes him turn into Dark and steal valuable works of art for a purpose unkown to Daisuke. As the story unfolds, he learns why, and about his classmate who seems to have the same ability. |

DN Angel is one of the very few animes that is better than the manga (because the manga got canceled, and because the anime has more storyline). Dn Angel has some very interesting characters, and is for a variety of age groups. It has a bit of a love triangle, but not so much that it takes over the entire anime. DN Angel is a very well-rounded anime.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
