What a plot!You'll never get bored of it

The genious and malevolent protagonist ,Yagami Light ,thinks almost every detail when it comes to achieving his own goals, more than a common criminal, and the ways he gets rid of his victims are very very evil and effortless. He doesnt use physical Force, he uses his mind ,so that he won't get caught by the Police, and his deathnote, which belonged to a Shinigami(Ryuuk). While the story progresses, Light finds out a lot of ways to use the death note and avoids arrest many times. He also makes many friends ,who are occasionaly used by him. Light will accept many challenges from his enemies and will surpass a lot of difficulties ,in order to create the "Ideal-new World". But he fails to do that and the end of the series is fair and sad.
