Masaru, is a second year Junior High student, and is undefeated in battle, He meets the Digital Monster Agumon, who has escaped from DATS, a secret government organization. Despite terrible first impressions, the two become best friends by talking with their "fists". With others, Masaru and Agumon work to investigate various incidents involving the Digital World and Digital Monsters, to try and get to the bottom of things. |

I've watched Digimon years ago and i have to say that compared to the classic Digimon series Digimon Data Squad isn't so bad. In my opinion, this is the 2nd best digimon adventure after Digimon Adventure 1. The character development and the comic part of it are it's strong points. Further, it's plot is not boring, contrawise you'll want to watch more and more of it. Just an entertaining anime to watch.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
