Ryuugamine Mikado is a boy who longs for the exciting life of the big city. At the invitation of his childhood friend Masaomi, he transfers to a school in Ikebukuro. Masaomi has warned him about people he doesn't want to cross in the city: a champion fighter, an informant, and a mysterious gang called "Darazu." Nervous from Masaomi's stories, Mikado witnesses an urban legend on his first day in the city, the Headless Rider astride a black motorcycle. From then on, the existence of supernatural cases and a gang called the Yellow Turbans will rise to the surface, and Ikebukuro will pushed to the breaking point. |

When I first was browsing sites, looking for some new anime to watch, I stumbled on Durarara!! and thought nothing of it really... I mean the name was weird so I didn't think it'd be much... but if animes have taught me, weird names generally mean a good anime... So I decided to watch it and I was shocked... I haven't seen such a good anime in a LONG time... and I've watched plenty! This anime keeps you wanting more after each episode... You can NEVER tell what's going to happen.. Through the entire thing so far, it keeps hinting at stuff that could happen... but it almost rarely ever does; rather a series of twists keep you entwined and wanting to watch. I suggest this to any anime watcher as it has a hint of romance, comedy, weirdness, supernatural events, and much more! It's just so freaking awesome! Watch it!
