Elfen Lied does an incredible job of integrating bloody scenes with a storyline that covers the emotional spectrum. If you like action/gore, but want to watch a series that also has light-hearted moments as well... look no further. Only watch the series if you can handle nudity, violence, blood and having higher standards for future shows that you watch.
