A pretty good show

This show reminds me a lot of One Piece. The drawing is pretty similar and the main character, Natsu, is powerful, but kind of an idiot. Natsu and Gray's constant fighting reminds me a lot of Zorro and Sanji. Happy's personality isn't like Choppa, but he still reminds me of him. One of Lucy's summons looks a lot like Choppa when he transforms as well.

The animation is OK, but it's fighting scenes are not on par with Naruto or Bleach. One thing I'm not too happy about is the way some of the story is cut off. It is not always continuous like most anime. It is somewhere between that and the Western style of one story for each episode.

Aside from that, I think it's a good show. It's not something I would get excited to see every week (at least not yet), but it is entertaining. This is a light hearted series (again similar to One Piece) that doesn't get too serious. I feel that it's made for a younger crowd, but think adults like myself can get into too. If you are looking for a fun show, it's worth checking out.
