When my friend first told me about Fairy tail back when there wasn't a series yet I was skeptical it didn't sound like something I would enjoy, now every week I have to know what's happening. The story is well plotted filled with mystery a has a few surprises in store and you will regret not finding out why it's becoming so popular. However the best thing about Fairy Tail must be the skits especially when Happy is present, a talking cat can easily be super lame (I usually hate talking animals in anime) but he is awesome, sarcastic and really funny. So try Fairy Tail there are plenty of colourfull characters to keep you entertained and leave you in stitches.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
