The Japanese Ministry of Defense has an anti-paranormal special forces group called the Paranormal Disaster Countermeasure Headquarters. They're the ones responsible to protect Japanese soil and its people from supernatural and paranormal events. However, things didn't go so well in one of their missions, which leads to intervention by the Ministry of Enviroment's Supernatural Disaster Countermeasures Division after the PDCH has sustained large numbers of casualties battling demons. |

there is so much story and background developed in 12 episodes but thankfully because it was only 12 episodes, it wasn't slow with irrelevant scenes and/or characters. the two main characters aren't just two mindless high school girls; they both come from powerful exorcist families who have a tragic past with a difficult destiny to fulfill. this anime explores the most raw emotions (sorrow, jealousy, anger, desperation etc.) and the the fight scenes are most intense. it also has a dark and creepy vibe for all you horror lovers out there. excellent anime. i wouldn't change a thing about it.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
