Mai Taniyama is an average high school student who is fascinated by ghost stories and the paranormal. After accidentally breaking a camera and getting a man injured, she has to repay her debt by taking a part-time job as assistant to a psychic detective. I'm 20 yrs old and I've been watching anime for about 10 yrs now, So I've seen alot of anime and I've never seen anything that comes close to as frighteningly and suspenseful as Ghost Hunt. This is the scariest anime I've seen. Anime's like berserk, Hellsing, Devil May Cry, Pet Shop of horrors, perfect blue, and Highschool of the Dead had monsters in it but they never really were scary.
I was watching this by myself at night and had to cut the lights on cause it was so scary. But yeah it has a good story and the episodes spans out into cases and each case is about 4 episodes.
Definitely check this out if you are a suspense and thriller fan cause it will have you jumping or turning on the lights. BEWARE!!!
I'm definitely i'm going to watch and episode or two on Halloween along with Soul Eater
