Summary:
Mai Taniyama is an average high school student who is fascinated by ghost stories and the paranormal. After accidentally breaking a camera and getting a man injured, she has to repay her debt by taking a part-time job as assistant to a psychic detective. This spunky 15-year-old goes from telling ghost stories to living one of her own, as the myths and legends she and her friends once enjoyed unravel before her.

Ghost Hunt is another wonderfully underrated anime that is made up of many little different arcs dealing with the supernatural. If you love a good ghost story, you will enjoy this very much. The stories vary from quite creepy, to very touching. But the best thing about Ghost Hunt is the collaboration of characters in the form of supernatural investigators that work together. You have a Mika, a monk, a medium, a catholic priest, an onmyou and a high school girl who has premonitions. Most of the time they don't get along, and it is quite hilarious. But when they work together, they get the job done and it is a wonderful story where the appeal lies in the great stories and then fantastic character interaction.
