Alright, first off. To anyone who wants to watch this anime, please ignore the idiots in the one and two star section's ratings. They can troll all they want in their own little corner. Now to the actual review.
I have to echo what many people seem to be saying about both the story and the dialogue. The story has potential (which is all I will allow myself to say to attempt to not be biased, since I have seen and loved both Code Geass and Gundam Seed which are this show's predecessors), and the dialogue doesn't really blow me away. However the voice actors in my opinion are spot on, and and deliver the dialogue well.
The video is above average in terms of quality, however the landscapes seem to be a bit on the dull side. Character design is also a bit bland, but one thing that I appreciated was the detail to movement. More often then not the character's mouth will simply open and close when the character is speaking, however here there is more detailed movement of the mouth that actually match up to the Japanese audio.
The music is in all honesty probably my favorite part of this anime, I feel as if it fits not only the anime well, but when a certain song is played during a certain part of an episode, I feel as if it fits perfectly with the scene.
The weapons in this anime are also in my opinion unique, and at the same time cliche. However the variety of the weapons I find to be impressive, as well as the mech design and operation concept.
All in all I believe this anime is above average. I wouldn't give it all five stars as of now, however with five episodes in I think it's safe to assume that this is generally how the anime will be until about episode 12-15.
