A mysterious, lethal disease is on the loose worldwide, resulting in a catastrophic death rate of humanity, and the increasing rise of attacks, caused by the living dead.
In Japan, several high school students and a school nurse have banded together to escape Fujimi High School shortly after it was attacked by zombies. The group now attempts to figure who or what was responsible for this plague, and in the meantime, attempt to survive the present apocalypse.
The story is initially narrated through the eyes of Takashi Komuro, one of the students who had survived in the initial outbreak. |

We all know what we watched this for - the tense moments, the horror, the survival against all odds and the questioning of morals in a world torn apart from ravenous undead.
Er - nope.
I don't know about you, but I watched for the boobs. The panty shots. The fan service. The female form in all it's glory. I.e the ecchi.
I never whatch ecchi geared shows because most of the cast are reminiscent of blow up sex dolls, which is massively unappealing.
I love how this anime put some story into it. Zombies, and a lot of sweet action. The artists themselves are great too, and I recommend reading the manga where this anime stops off.
Zombia apocalypse and Ecchi aren't unique things, but the characters drive it well. There is one or two events that happen that take a whole new take on the genre. There's just a lot going for this show. It was a fun watch that i finished in one sitting, and I'd be happy for more
- Except the OVA, which i didn't even bother with after hearing it's 'content'. That, i'm afraid descended into the territory of dolls.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
