After watching episode 1, I concluded that "Highschool of the Dead" is not for me. Now, I truly watched all of episode one and I don't feel it's really that captivating. For the story and entertainment, I felt that it was the typical zombie story where the main characters are in a critical situation and that the death of another character sparks the main character to become the "true shining hero who will lead us all." I give points for dialogue however because "Highschool of the Dead" does have its tense parts and may keep you interested at times. What threw me off was the excessive panty shots and bouncing boobs. If you can only use that to lure more viewers and keep you audience interested, I don't think it's worth watching. Why not watch read ecchi and watch hentai then? Some people may argue and say "I'm not watching for the ecchi or whatever. Ok. Then it's the gore and violence. That is a somewhat better reason to watch this anime but without a good plot, it's excessive violence with no point in killing. Due to advanced technology today, anime itself has undergone its changes. You notice new animation techniques and effects that make watching anime a more fun experience. I give points for animation because it makes violent scenes more graphic and realistic. It is made by Madhouse I believe in which I hold high opinion of. And for the ecchi fans, I guess good for you as well.

For people who are considered new to anime and are young in age. This is not the one to start with.
