| Summary: |
A mysterious, lethal disease is on the loose worldwide, resulting in a catastrophic death rate of humanity, and the increasing rise of attacks, caused by the living dead.
In Japan, several high school students and a school nurse have banded together to escape Fujimi High School shortly after it was attacked by zombies. The group now attempts to figure who or what was responsible for this plague, and in the meantime, attempt to survive the present apocalypse.
The story is initially narrated through the eyes of Takashi Komuro, one of the students who had survived in the initial outbreak. |

I love how the 1st episode got me hooked, before i knew it, i was caught up in wanting to play L4D1 after watching a few. The animation is something i have never seen before in an anime. It's crisp, action oriented, very colorful too; specially for the opening song. So what if there is a lil bit of hentai-ish animation, if you were in a zombie apocalypse and didn't know when you would die, wouldn't you want to get naughty here and there?, but that also adds to the humor of the story, got to have that in a semi-serious anime right? The story seems original to me. i don't care if there have been video games on zombies and apocalypse endings, i haven't seen an anime about it. i give H.O.T.D a 5/5 because it keeps me wanting more.
