I actually hate Zombies, the Post Apocalyptic setting and anything having to do with either of them, so when a mate of mine told me to watch this show, I was annoyed and irritated at the concept of having to waste twentyfive minutes of my time on an Anime I knew I wouldn't like.
However, being the dirty pervert that I am, the first boob jiggle caught my attention and I shelved my loathing of all things Undead and took a reasonable interest. The Animation quality was an immediate eye-opener, and though I am more of a fan of traditional Anime art-styles, the new shininess definatly adds in an appeal that superceeds anything a more old-school style would have.
Though the storyline is not particularly in depth and the characters are -very- Anime the psychological aspects of the character developement make it very intriguing. There has been some occassions where the combination of panty-shot fanservice and the blood and gore being in the same scene and setting is somewhat disturbing, overall the show has been rather entertaining and I am willing to stick it out until the end and hope that the show ends on a decent literary note.
