Summary:
A mysterious, lethal disease is on the loose worldwide, resulting in a catastrophic death rate of humanity, and the increasing rise of attacks, caused by the living dead.
In Japan, several high school students and a school nurse have banded together to escape Fujimi High School shortly after it was attacked by zombies. The group now attempts to figure who or what was responsible for this plague, and in the meantime, attempt to survive the present apocalypse.
The story is initially narrated through the eyes of Takashi Komuro, one of the students who had survived in the initial outbreak.
I not going to make another lame left4dead comparison. ;) Well, that being said, I kept thinking this would get better and be a great take on a zombie apocalypse. I would have given the story a 4 (because I love zombie stories) if not for the rather generic characters, and some rather stupid choices made by the characters. After that the best thing this has going for it is animation.
Big killer for me, the fan service is just ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I'm no prude, and can deal with an occasional flash, but this is just overboard and very often takes away from the serious mood of some scenes. I kept hoping as the story fleshed out that the frequency would decrease some, but it actually increases. Add to that the eventual addition of an 8-year-old girl to the group and it just got too uncomfortable.
That is it, I'm done. Moving on to hopefully better stories.
