| Summary: |
A mysterious, lethal disease is on the loose worldwide, resulting in a catastrophic death rate of humanity, and the increasing rise of attacks, caused by the living dead.
In Japan, several high school students and a school nurse have banded together to escape Fujimi High School shortly after it was attacked by zombies. The group now attempts to figure who or what was responsible for this plague, and in the meantime, attempt to survive the present apocalypse.
The story is initially narrated through the eyes of Takashi Komuro, one of the students who had survived in the initial outbreak. |

FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! I'm sick of everyone saying the HOTD only have 12 epi...so NOT true!
Those first 12 epi were only the 1st season...the 2nd will eventually come, not too soon, but eventually!
If you saw the manga, you'll see what's coming next...(don't wanna be a spoiler) the way the 12th epi ended show a little of what's coming up next, the "Shopping Mall Ark"...i won't say more, just be expecting new epis of HOTD in the, hope not too far, future ;)
ps: since the HOTD manga is only monthly, and every single epi represents one manga, is no surprise if they took some time to launch new epi...but look forward to it ;)
