Remake of the 1999 TV series of Hunter x Hunter based on the manga by Togashi Yoshihiro. A Hunter is one who travels the world doing all sorts of dangerous tasks. From capturing criminals to searching deep within uncharted lands for any lost treasures. Gon is a young boy whose father disappeared long ago, being a Hunter. He believes if he could also follow his father\'s path, he could one day reunite with him. |

If you’re tired of all the mainstream anime like Bleach, Naruto One piece, etc and looking for an anime with over a 100+ episodes. This is the next best thing. I love this anime because it’s in a world of it’s own, it doesn’t try to imitate other “power” anime out there, it’s very liberating in the way it goes about the use of aura as a means of power which the show does very well. I personally believe this anime is better than most shounen anime out there IMO, if you’re looking for something fresh and addictive this is your best bet. The dialogue, the story is just perfect. The pace of the show is absolutely fantastic. The animation isn’t a ten over ten but it’s not ok enough for you to enjoy and appreciate the show. Trust me, you might have to go to rehab to cure your addiction once you start. It’s that good.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
