In the romantic comedy story, a high school girl named Kotoko finally tells a fellow senior named Naoki that she has loved him from afar since she saw him on their first day of high school. However, Naoki, a haughty "super-ikemen" (handsome male) with smarts and sports talent, rejects her offhand. Fate intervenes when a mild earthquake ruins Kotoko's family house. While the house gets rebuilt, Kotoko and her dad stay at the home of her dad's childhood friend...whose son is Naoki.

I found this anime a long time ago and i have to say it is absolutely fantastic. As for another reviewer who said it sucks because one of the voice actors has an annoying voice? Seriously? you cant tear apart a fantastically written anime because you dont like a voice actor. im sure i could find some voice actors in your favorites that i dont like either but that doesnt mean i would rate it low. Anyways people ignore that reviwer because the voice acting is awesome. This show is funny cute, romantic, dramatic, and everything wonderful. you will laugh and maybe even cry along with it i know i did! If you like this also check out Toradora, Claymore, Ef series(melodies and memories), Vampire Knight, Ayakashi, Spice and Wolf, Rosario + Vampire, Inuyasha, Hanasakeru Seishounen, B;each, and oh so many more!

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
