When an apprentice witch turns thirteen, she must leave her home in order to hone her craft. Although Kiki's sole talent is broom-flying, she sets out for adventure with her cat Jiji. They settle in a charming seaside town, where Kiki establishes her own delivery service. As Kiki learns to balance independence with responsibility, her kind heart wins her many new friends in this coming-of-age tale. |

If you are choosing whether or not to watch this movie or not, I'll tell you something; it's a Miyazaki film.
If you are not convinced because you don't know who Miyazaki is, then I'll tell you; only the greatest anime film director ever.
Hopefully, my perfect rating of this movie and brief background of this film will convince you to watch it, and I guarantee... that you won't regret watching it... or your money back... lol

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
