At first, Takayuki Narumi is befriended by Mitsuki Hayase only because Mitsuki's best friend, Haruka Suzumiya has a crush on him; however since then, Takayuki, his pal Shinji Taira, and Mitsuki have grown to be the best of friends. Then one day, Haruka confesses to Takayuki her love for him. Not wanting to hurt her feelings, Takayuki agrees to go out with her. After a few incidents, their relationship gets intimate, even while Takayuki and Mitsuki begin to realize their feelings for each other. But suddenly, when tragedy strikes, things are never the same for these four friends again |

Based on the visual novel with the same name, this anime is worth watching, even the main plot is just a simple love triangle (or not just simple, and perhaps pentangle? ^^), but with an unsolvable situation the story is very complex, and u get sucked in to continue watching.
The characters are all lovable ones, the design is on the "expected" level, and the OP & ED is something u can't skip even after many episodes.
I recommend this anime mostly for girls and for those who likes sad, dramatic romantic animes.
Sidenote: The Rumbling Hearts Next Season isn't a continuation to this anime, but rather an alternative ending, heavily recommend to watch after this series.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
