| Summary: |
Shinichi Izumi is a normal high school boy whose right hand has become infected with an alien parasite that names itself "Migi" ("right"). Migi is the first parasite to develop a symbiotic relationship with its host, as he and Shinichi slowly develop a grudging friendship. Migi isn't the only Parasite on earth, however, and as cases of Parasites killing humans begin to emerge, humans seek to kill off Parasites. Shinichi and Migi find themselves caught in between these two sides of the struggle over planet earth. |

The storyline seems slow, but if you pay attention, you will notice the time gaps here and there between episodes. The character development is extremely out of the box and there isn't too much back story for the characters. The main character(s) symbiotic relationship takes a turn around episode 5 and makes it more appealing as though they evolved together. The first few episodes were really angsty and heavily slow in my opinion, but it is worth watching. If you can't handle psychological anime, it might not be for you, but you wont know if you like it unless you try it.
