Portrays the lives of several school girls attending a Japanese high school with a very loose humor tone. The main heroine is Konata Izumi, an athletic and intelligent girl who, despite these attributes, is not in a sports club, and her grades remain low. Her laziness at school is due to her love for anime and video games, and she is not interested in much else. |

Anime within an anime?! (gasp!) That being said, here's the review.
Anyone who watches anime should really give this one a shot. I didn't give this show a chance at first. After seeing the opening, I figured this was just another "crazy high school" show. A few episodes later and suddenly my wall is covered in Konata posters 0_o. I can almost guarantee you, you'll relate to at least one character on this show. Honestly, this show is great representation of the average anime fan's life.
Story-10/10 Because its something almost anyone could relate to
Dialogue-9/10 Your standard anime based comedy and everyday conversations
Animation-9/10 Nothing complex, yet good enough to keep me watching
Overall-9.5/10 If you call yourself an anime fan, WATCH THIS SHOW
