Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A's

Overall Rating
Excellent

This is the second title in the Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A's series, however, for me, it was the first one that I watched. At first, I didn't really understand who the characters were, and the terminology used in the anime, as I didn't watch the first season yet, but it still managed to capture me with the amazing animation! The animation seems extremely sophisticated, with devices that speak in German and English and all! I also loved the names of the magical spells, as they were really creative and original and all! Overall, I loved the animation, as it was extremely creative, and it was just amazing to watch those battles - they actually gave me the chills once in a while! The story's plot was quite interesting, as it turns out that an innocent, hospitalized girl hides a mysterious power! The entertainment was extremely good as well, as it captured me from the first second, as the theme songs are catchy and are so good! I recommend this anime to anyone who has watched the first season first, though, it's fine if you don't watch it in chronological order too....But whoever loves shoujo anime with magic in it, then this is the anime for you! Overall, this anime is exceptional and is one of the best I have watched so far!

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
