| Summary: |
The story revolves around high school student Akira Nikaido, a typical slacker living a normal life. That is, until he meets the mysterious Shirogane, a man who suddenly appears and tells him to meet him at the school that night. Though he is skeptical, he goes anyway, and subsequently gets attacked by a shadow monster. Shirogane convinces him that the balance between the human world and the shadow world has been distorted, and that Akira must become a "shin", which is a creature of the shadow world, in order to help restore the balance. |

this anime is kind of boring at times and a little strange but all in all it's an okay anime to watch if you're looking for something to do. it has action, (yeah the killing demon kind) adventure, comedy, (yeah it's quite funny indeed) romance, suspense, good vs evil, light and dark, and the occational screaming blonde headed boy. it's a generic demon killing anime if anything. the anime also has a bit of a yaoi (boy loves boy) twist to it, not a fan service in the anime (manga kind of is). the only think it really shows that steers toward a boy loves boy concept is an occational kiss between the main character and his "unwanted" dark partner. all in all it's an alright anime and a good watch if you're just browsing. enjoy.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
