Naruto Shippuuden is the continuation of the original animated TV series Naruto.The story revolves around an older and slightly more matured Uzumaki Naruto and his quest to save his friend Uchiha Sasuke from the grips of the snake-like Shinobi, Orochimaru. After 2 and a half years Naruto finally returns to his village of Konoha, and sets about putting his ambitions to work, though it will not be easy, as He has amassed a few (more dangerous) enemies, in the likes of the shinobi organization; Akatsuki. |

The anime is at best mediochre. Huge loop of fillers, a single fight can drag on for I've lost count how many episodes. The dialogue is pretty retarded, not to mention the dialogue during fights. "Oh I see. He's combining windstyle and waterstyle to make that seeking super sprinkler move which soaks everything it it's pressence" Captain Obvious strikes yet again! There have been a few good episodes, I admit. FEW. Cut the obvious crap and fillers. I mean, you can easily figure out what will happen several episodes ahead.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
