My favorite anime

There are a lot of Naruto haters out there. Don't listen to them. Check it out for yourself.

Naruto is an amazing show. Everything from the animation to the story is great. Throughout the show you will meet many characters and actually get to know them. It is rare to see characters and not have at least a little bit of back story on them. I feel this adds more depth to the characters and the story in general. This is also a show where they're not afraid to kill off characters. They will die, you might get a little teary eyed, and you will never see them again (aside from flashbacks).

The fight scenes are probably the best around (the best I've seen so far). The dialog during the fight scenes are great too. It also helps that every power is eventually explained. This adds depth to the fights. They are not just doing random moves that look cool. There is almost always a strategy involved.

Even though I gave this high ratings for everything, I do have some gripes. This show goes into filler too much. During that time, the story is HORRIBLE. The animation can be just as bad. My guess is that the real animators go on vacation when fillers are running. I've skipped most of the fillers besides a few, which were actually pretty good. If you don't follow the manga, I suggest you find out which episodes are fillers.
