Naruto Shippuuden is the continuation of the original animated TV series Naruto.The story revolves around an older and slightly more matured Uzumaki Naruto and his quest to save his friend Uchiha Sasuke from the grips of the snake-like Shinobi, Orochimaru. After 2 and a half years Naruto finally returns to his village of Konoha, and sets about putting his ambitions to work, though it will not be easy, as He has amassed a few (more dangerous) enemies, in the likes of the shinobi organization; Akatsuki. |

I'm a casual Naruto watcher. Yes the series is quite overated, but that doesn't mean that it can't be enjoyed. I've only seen four sides of opinions about Naruto.
1.)Narutards who love it and just about nothing else.
2.)People who see it as another one of the TONS of anime out there. (I'm in this one.)
3.)People who hate Naruto for no reason ((includes just seeing one stupid filler episode of young Naruto and judging the ENTIRE series)) because they're emo and go out of their way like to pretend that they're really different from everyone. They don't like Naruto because a lot of people do and they don't wanna bandwagon.
4.)People who don't give a damn about it either way.
Anyways, I enjoy Naruto casually, but the fillers have led me away, and actually have led me into a bunch of other anime that I have REALLY enjoyed! But after seeing the preview for the last episode of Naruto, it seems that the fillers will be ending with the next episode.
But still, to all crazy, close-minded Naruto fans... Branch out a little bit.. you won't regret it!

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
