Be warned

The first thing I would like to say about "No. 6" is that it contains some hints of shounen ai or boy's love. It isn't apparent at first and probably shouldn't scare you away from this series though I must admit I wasn't completely comfortable with the atmosphere during some scenes.

Like most mystery shows "No. 6" starts off interesting but slows down around half way. The story as a whole is good and the ending raps it up nicely, answering your biggest questions but only hints at smaller matters.

There were moments when I was annoyed by the BL-ish conversations. Some characters could get unexpectedly emotional, in my opinion for no good reason, but in most cases the dialogue was good.

I have no complaints about the animation.

"No. 6"'s story was good. It's a shame it was a bit ruined for me by the shounen ai tension. Mainly because I was constantly doubting if I was imaging things. It's usually that subtle. So know what to expect and enjoy this anime's strong points.
