Before he was executed, the legendary Pirate King Gold Roger revealed that he had hidden the treasure One Piece somewhere in the Grand Line. well, here is an anime with pretty much everything you would ask for, well the design might be a bit weak, but it certainly has other good points that make up for it. Every character has a big background story and also his unique abilities. The story line is rather big but good, big doses of drama, humor and action, it never bores me to watch. I would also add that it is rather interesting in the way the character are developing, for example see the main protagonist, how he began and how he is now, i mean, although he is rather stupid he manages to do some incredible things. It teaches us to never give up no matter what. Of course it might be a bit tiring because of the long story but if nothing else, it is a fairy tale for those who love it. Haven't you ever wished for more after watching the last episode of an anime? heck this one has plenty for everyone, so just enjoy the show.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
