At first, i'm not really into this anime compared to Naruto and Bleach because it lacks the character design and filled with weird creatures. And, the den-den mushi (snail phone) is really outrageous but then it's all add up as a unique identity for One Piece. The story baseline is like a fantasy world where all weird and outrageous thing and creatures can all fit in. After watching several episodes, I realize that One Piece attraction is their adventures, friendship, meeting new friends and new world during their quest. Because their world is a fantasy, anything can happen like an island up 10000km in the sky. The thrill and curiosity keep me watching the anime until now. It so much fun. Who cares about the lack of character design because each one of them got their own unique personalities. Watch it and you love it. One of the best anime ever.
